Judy A. Baldridge, M.S.W. (Master of Social Work) is a Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Diplomate. The B.C.D. is a national credential issued to advanced practitioners by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work. L.M.S.W. is the license issued by the State of Michigan and stands for Licensed Master Social Worker.
A.C.S.W. stands for the Academy of Certified Social Workers. This is a national association which attests to the competence of a professional social worker as qualified for self-regulated practice according to the Academy standards. Social workers who are private practitioners should be members in good standing of the Academy.
L.M.F.T. stands for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and requires post graduate supervision and experience as well as the recommendation of colleagues. Continuing education is required by the State of Michigan to maintain both licenses.
